excited for the next adventure
We are so deeply honored and thrilled that REWIND has been so well received by audiences and critics alike. It was our first feature length film, and making it helped us grow as filmmakers and as a company. While we haven’t yet selected our next story, we know that when we do, it will be a story that compels us to tell it - a story that gives us no choice but to dive right in. We are currently in the process of exploring new non-fiction stories, as well as brainstorming and developing new fictional and animated concepts.
From a college Basement
to the tribeca film festivaL
TO MILLIONs of HOUSEHOLDS
No matter how large, every journey begins with a single step.
For Sasha Joseph Neulinger, the journey to direct REWIND began during the winter of 2013 in a college basement. At that time, he had the vision for what would follow, but lacked the financing, team, and connections to bring the project to life.
That single step became two, three, and four… and after six years of grinding to bring his autobiographical story to light, REWIND made it’s world premiere at the 2019 Tribeca, toured internationally, and was nominated for a Critics Choice Award for Best First Feature Documentary, and received 3 Emmy Nominations, including Outstanding Social Issue Documentary, Outstanding Direction, and Outstanding Editing.
REWIND had its U.S. television premiere on PBS’ Independent Lens, bringing the film to millions of households nationwide. REWIND is now streaming on Hulu and is Certified Fresh at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
REWIND was co-produced with Grizzly Creek Films and Cedar Creek Productions.
